A meteorite nearly crashes in Spain. It has crossed the sky of Spain this weekend .The meteorite could be observed from Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Andalucía, Aragón, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Madrid and Extremadura.
According to several people, the meteorite illuminated the sky with color changing lights around seven o'clock on Sunday for a few seconds, leaving a long trail of smoke before disintegrating.
Meteorites are generated when a detached particle of extraterrestrial bodies, asteroids or comets cross the Earth's atmosphere, usually at speeds between 11 and 73 kilometers per second.
