THE DISCOVERY OF A NEW COMET

Last August a group of brazilian universitary students discovered a new comet called “Pimentel”, because the discoverer was called Pimentel.

The comet has an orbit as Halley comet, this means that the orbit is very inclined to the earth and  with a period of 21 years, that is the comet perihelion happens every 21 years. The last time was on September 10^th.

This new comet was made official by International Astronomical Union (IAU)
